Well our feet have not even touched the ground since the fringe and we already working on the next step for True North Youth Theatre Ensemble.
We have recently been funded by the Anglicare Communities for Childrens Plus Program to extend our reach to the City of Playford and have opened a scholarship program running out of the Platform in Elizabeth. This program is for City of Playford residence aged 8-12 years and is running from 230pm – 4pm on Saturdays.
As it is a scholarship program positions are limited and conditions apply. This groups is also working on a version of “A Sense of Home” that will be presented in the Shedly Theatre in Elizabeth on June 28th. Meanwhile our Junior and Senior groups have enjoyed getting back our home in Klemzig and Hillcrest and are working on skill development and characterisation for the next term.
After such an exciting time during the Fringe it is great to see both groups so connected and engaged. We are also really happy to have welcomed some new members to our theatre workshops.
We have introduced some amazing new tutors with a variety of skills and we are excited to announce that True North Youth Theatre Ensemble is confirmed to be a part of the Come Out 2015 programming. Its an exciting time to join True North with only limited positions available don’t miss out!
